Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nudge. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Free Trial & Subscriptions

New accounts receive a 3-day free trial with access to premium features. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

After the trial, your account renews automatically on a monthly basis at the rate shown at sign-up. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Upload malicious code or interfere with Service infrastructure

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content you add to Nudge (tasks, events, notes). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

6. AI Features

Nudge uses large language models (OpenAI) to parse your input and generate study plans. AI-generated content may be inaccurate. Do not rely on it for critical academic deadlines without verifying it yourself. We are not liable for errors in AI-generated output.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Nudge integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar and Telegram. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
